Give your Mustang some serious upper RPM gains without having to add springs, with these Comp Cams Stage 3 XFI NSR Camshafts!
Aggressive Profile, Aggressive Performance. The Comp Cams Stage 3 XFI NSR Camshafts will give your 2011-2014 Mustang GT huge power gains when the needle approaches 5500 RPM. With valve lift of 0.492 on the intake, 0.453 on the exhaust and a duration of 276/283 degrees, respectively, the Comp Cams Stage 3 XFI cams are significantly more aggressive than stock and will unload a sizable power gain between 5500-7000 RPM. Despite all of these more aggressive parameters, there is no need to change the factory valve springs, and while the power gains are definitely at the top end, these cams are still perfectly streetable.
Perfect for the Street and the Dragstrip. These comp Cams Stage 3 XFI NSR Camshafts are perfect for the 2011 to 2014 Mustang GTequipped with long tube headers and 3.73 or steeper gearing. The aggressive cam profile of this kit will endow your Coyote Mustang with more peak power in the higher RPM range for exhilarating and breath-taking performance.
Professional Installation Required. Installing the Comp Cams Stage 3 XFI NSR Camshafts in your 2011-2014 Mustang GT is a very involved process that is best left to a professional. Furthermore, these cams are best used with 3.73 or steeper gears and long tube headers. The ECU absolutely needs to be retuned as well.
COMP Cams XFI Stage 3 Camshaft Set for Naturally Aspirated 2011-2014 5.0L Mustangs.
These billet hydraulic roller cams from COMP Cams unlock a major power upgrade for the 2011-2014 Ford 5.0L engine. Designed specifically for Coyote V8 applications, these camshafts are counter balanced and work with phaser limiters to produce optimum safe power.
The larger than normal lobe size on the Ford OHC is unlike any other cam-in-block engine, and the dangerous harmonics that come with these bigger lobes must be addressed for high performance usage. By taking cutting-edge race technology and applying it to street applications, COMP Cams has engineered these phaser-friendly cams with an exclusive integrated counter balance design that cuts down on vibrations and reduces overall harmonics to ensure a smoother operating valve train that was properly engineered for high lift, long duration valve motion at high RPM.
The Ford 5.0L camshafts from COMP Cams are available for both naturally aspirated and supercharged engines, with three stages available in each series. All cams are No Springs Required. Optimized race and street profiles give you the power where you need it most, whether that"s maximized mid-range power and torque or increased top end horsepower.
